Navajo Family

This painting is framed in an old barnwood frame. It depicts homelife of the Navajo. When the artist was about 8 years old, during travels to the western states with her parents, they came upon a hogan and the artist was enchanted with it and the children playing around.

This painting is currently on display at the "Shafer Regional Invitational Art Exhibition", Jan. 17th - Feb. 19th on the campus of Barton County Community College in Great Bend, Kansas.
